FDA sets a date for enforcing menu labeling rules

The Food and Drug Administration issued its final guidance for implementing menu labeling rules on Friday, six years after lawmakers included the provision in the Affordable Care Act. The rules, which apply to all restaurants and other foodservice venues with 20 or more locations, will be enforceable starting in May 2017.
