The Indianapolis-based Soy Aquaculture Alliance has named Bridget Owen executive director. Her previous experience includes executive positions at Novus International in St. Louis and the national Soybean Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois.
Owen holds degrees from Missouri State University and Lindenwood University. She also previously led the American Soybean Association’s Global Aquaculture Program.
The Soy Aquaculture Alliance focuses on ensuring safe and abundant supplies of affordable seafood for Americans and high-quality soybean ingredients for the aquaculture feed industry. The organization says it hired Owen after a national search.
