The American Fisheries Society recently hosted a virtual briefing, entitled Advances in Science and Technology Leading to More Sustainable Aquaculture, for Congressional representatives and staffers working in the natural resources space. A number of NOAA Knauss Fellows attended the live event, and the recording will be further distributed throughout congressional offices.
Moderated by Drue Winters, of the American Fisheries Society, this expert lineup of speakers effectively dispelled misinformation about U.S. aquaculture in a manner that is easily understandable to non-scientists.
