Cal Poly Humboldt Represented at Aquaculture America

Cal Poly Humboldt’s Aquaculture Lab made a notable impact at the Aquaculture America conference in San Antonio. Kalani Ortiz delivered a presentation during the Macroalgae session, titled “Assessing twine selection and growth of bull kelp from nursery to open water cultivation in Humboldt Bay, CA,” showcasing her thesis research. Meanwhile, Raven McAdams contributed to the conference with a poster presentation on her thesis project, “Gonadal sex differentiation in Sacramento Pikeminnow through histological sampling.”
