Proposition 65 Proposed Regulatory Action on Calculating Exposures to Reproductive Toxicants: Notice of Public Hearing and Extension of Public Comment Period

On October 5, 2018, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) proposed regulatory changes concerning the averaging of concentrations of reproductive toxicants in food products and determining the average use of a consumer product for purposes of calculating exposures to listed reproductive toxicants.  The public comment period was initially scheduled to close on November 19, 2018.  OEHHA has received a request for a public hearing and an extension of the public comment period for these proposed amendments, and has scheduled a public hearing on November 19, 2018, at the George Alexeeff Environmental Health Library, Suite 1604, 16th Floor, 1515 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94612.  The hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until noon.  OEHHA has extended the public comment period on this proposed amendment to November 26, 2018.
