Good representation from Cal Poly Humboldt (formally known at Humboldt State University) at the Aquaculture conference in San Diego. Graduate student, Erika Thalman, presented at the Macroalgae Aquaculture – Supporting an Emerging Industry session. She received the World Aquaculture Society Student Travel Award for her abstract titled: “Long-line culture of red seaweed in the Pacific northwest”.
