New California Endangered Species Act Subscriber List Available from CDFW

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has a new subscriber list for anyone interested in receiving announcements about the species listed or petitioned under the California Endangered Species Act (CESA). This list will inform subscribers when:

  • Species are petitioned for listing, become candidates, or are officially listed
  • Listing petition evaluations, listing status reviews, five-year species reviews, or other CESA-related documents are completed and available on our website
  • CDFW is requesting information to complete a listing status review or five-year species review
  • CDFW is requesting information to draft a recovery plan for a CESA-listed species
  • A draft or finalized recovery plan is available on our website
  • Information relevant to holders of 2081(a) Scientific, Education, or Management Permits (MOUs) is available
  • There are upcoming public meetings relevant to CESA-listed or petitioned species (including for listing, status and species reviews, and recovery planning)
