The California Aquaculture Association (CAA) is seeking nominations for the upcoming Board of Directors election. The duties and responsibilities of CAA directors are listed below.

CAA Board of Directors Responsibilities
Director term: two years, beginning January 15 | Must be an active Producer/Associate member with CAA
- Prepare for and attend board meetings (most held virtually).
- Be familiar with association by-laws, policies, and financial statements.
- Establish objectives and policies for CAA’s future.
- Supervise staff.
- Oversee fiduciary matters.
- Maintain communication with members.
- Communicate promptly with other board members.
- Participation in association committee(s) strongly encouraged.
