Call for Applications for the American Fisheries Advisory Committee through June 21, 2024

NOAA Fisheries announced the call for applications for nine new members to the American Fisheries Advisory Committee. These members will join the existing committee members and evaluate and make recommendations for the annual Saltonstall-Kennedy Grant Competition. The committee is responsible for developing the request for proposals, reviewing applications for grants after the technical review, and selecting applications for approval.

Saltonstall-Kennedy funds are used to provide grants or cooperative agreements for fisheries research and development projects addressing aspects of U.S. fisheries, such as harvesting, processing, marketing, and associated business infrastructures.

Applications may be submitted to nmfs.afac.nominations@noaa.gov from May 7, 2024, until June 21, 2024. Learn More about the American Fisheries Advisory Committee
