California Sea Grant Seeks Aquaculture Extension Specialist

California Sea Grant and Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego seek a resourceful, innovative aquaculture extension specialist. Duties include building an extension program of integrated applied research, community engagement, and education that will advance sustainable aquaculture and address coastal and marine issues in Southern California. This specialist will work closely with Biology Division scientists, other CASG extension specialists, and a variety of aquaculture stakeholders to develop and disseminate information and tools needed to grow sustainable aquaculture in the region.

Candidates who have a demonstrated commitment to and track record of improving diversity, equity, inclusion, justice and accessibility in STEM fields including aquaculture are encouraged to apply.

First consideration will be given to applications submitted by Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11:59 pm (Pacific time). The recruitment will conclude 11:59 pm (Pacific time) June 30th, 2024.
