Proposed Rule to List the Sunflower Sea Star as Threatened under the Endangered Species Act

NOAA Fisheries announced that, in response to a 2021 petition from the Center for Biological Diversity, it has completed a status review of the sunflower sea star (Pycnopodia helianthoides) and is proposing to list the species as threatened throughout its range under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
