The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is seeking a Research Scientist II – Fish Pathologist in their Fish Health team, based in Gold River, California. While this position is based in Gold River, this position travels statewide investigating fish health issues in hatcheries and wild fish populations. CDFW hatcheries are located in a large variety of scenic locations from the high mountains of the Sierra Nevada and Cascade ranges, to world class wine country, to the sandy beaches of California’s Pacific coast.
