The California Sea Grant Fellowship Program Coordinator will administer competitive coastal and marine fellowship programs and advise the Director on program-specific and application decisions, research and policy directions, and the latest developments in workforce development and training programs.
The Fellowship Program Coordinator works collaboratively within the Science Integration Team and with program partners to develop, coordinate, implement, integrate and evaluate the workforce development and training programs and provides services to CASG applicants, fellows, alumni and mentors.
This public-facing position works closely with students and industry and state agency partners. The Fellowship Program Coordinator is critical in leveraging various fellowship programs to nurture and strengthen fellows, mentors and hosts’ connection to other CASG assets that will help prioritize the program’s investments in research, communications and extension.
The hybrid position is based at the California Sea Grant offices at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego in La Jolla.
