WRAC’s goal is to represent the 12 western states and as many sectors of the aquaculture community as possible. The western region is large and diverse and includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. WRAC tries to maintain a balance of appropriate aquaculture related sectors and expertise within each committee or in WRAC as a whole, wherever possible.
Nomination is not required for current members to be considered for re-appointment. The IAC and Research Subcommittee members with terms ending June, 30, 2020 have been notified and re-appointment will be determined by the WRAC Board of Directors at their May meeting.
