California’s Proposition 65, first passed in November 1986, will have new guidelines for all products sold in the state as of 30 August.
Known widely as the legislation that requires some products to have the label “WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm,” the new rules have updated the “clear and reasonable warnings” section of the law.
