The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service announced a Request for Applications for the 2015 Federal-State Market Improvement Program (FSMIP) grant opportunity. The application deadline for FSMIP grants is May 14, 2015.
The Federal-State Marketing Improvement Program (FSMIP) provides matching funds to State Departments of Agriculture, State agricultural experiment stations, and other appropriate State agencies to assist in exploring new market opportunities for U.S. food and agricultural products, and to encourage research and innovation aimed at improving the efficiency and performance of the marketing system.
FSMIP will hold a teleconference to review the Request for Application and give participants the chance to ask questions on Tuesday, March 31 at 2:00 PM Eastern time. If you are interested in participating, please send an email to janise.zygmont@ams.usda.gov with the subject heading “FSMIP Teleconference” to receive call-in instructions. A recording of the teleconference will be available on April 1 at the website for anyone who could not participate in the live teleconference.
