This year, businesses from around the world will compete for over $180,000 in cash prizes. 36 finalists will present their ideas to a broad group of investors during the competition finals at Stanford University.
The Fish 2.0 competition connects global seafood and mariculture businesses with potential investors. The competition is open to businesses in any stage of development, from early stage, pre-revenue ventures to post-revenue, growth stage businesses looking to scale. Fish 2.0 is open to businesses anywhere in the world, but in some regions entries are invited from businesses in specific sectors only. Eligible business sectors include wild fisheries and aquaculture, aquaponics, seafood supply chain businesses and more.
The 2015 competition will offer three tracks for businesses to compete with their peers. For details on these tracks and on specific business eligibility, visit the Fish 2.0 website.
